Martie Krol is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), published author of children’s book Taylor Tate and the Great Escape, and founder of Mini Me Management. Martie has been working with children and their families for over eleven years, in a variety of settings and in collaboration with diverse professionals. Her mission is to educate and empower parents and/or caregivers to identify red flags, encourage language development, and manage behaviors safely and effectively.
Martie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New Paltz (State University of New York) and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Mercy College, in Dobbs Ferry, NY (2010). She completed her post master’s certification coursework in ABA, at Mercy College as well, and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2014. Martie was born and raised in Rockland County, NY and has been living in Houston, TX since 2017.
Martie’s educational background makes her an ideal match for children with communication needs and behavior issues. While in NY, she worked in public school systems, special education pre-schools, and in home-care. She currently works in a private setting in the greater Houston area and provides direct speech services, supervises Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, and provides behavior consultations to parents.
