How do I download Speech Blubs?
Speech Blubs is available on both iOS and Android. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store by searching for "Speech Blubs".
How do I create an account?
After downloading the app, open it and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account using your email or sign in with Apple/Google.
What age is Speech Blubs designed for?
Speech Blubs is designed for children ages 1-8 years old, with activities appropriate for different developmental stages.
What is Speech Blubs?
Speech Blubs is a speech therapy app for children aged 1-8, with over 1,500 activities. It uses video modeling — children watch and imitate real kids saying words — together with fun face filters, stickers and engaging activities that boost speech and pronunciation, improve imitation and interaction skills, and motivate sound and word production. It is developed with certified speech-language pathologists and is widely used by families of children with speech delay, Down syndrome, apraxia or autism.
Is Speech Blubs safe for kids?
Yes. Speech Blubs contains no ads and no links that lead children out of the app, and all content is age-appropriate for children aged 1-8. The app is developed together with certified speech-language pathologists. You can read how we handle personal data in our Privacy Policy.
Is Speech Blubs available for Android?
Yes. Speech Blubs is available for both Android and iOS. You can download it from Google Play or the App Store by searching for "Speech Blubs".
How much time should my child spend practicing with Speech Blubs?
We recommend around 10 to 15 minutes a day, ideally not right before bedtime. Short, regular sessions work better than long ones. Let your child choose activities they enjoy — how engaged they are matters more than how long they practice.
Does Speech Blubs have speech recognition?
Yes. Speech Blubs includes a speech recognition feature that listens for the correct pronunciation of a word. When your child pronounces a word correctly, a star pops out on the progress bar, so they get immediate feedback and encouragement while they practice.
Does Speech Blubs recognize my child's speech?
Yes. When your child practices a word, the app listens for the correct pronunciation and rewards it with a star on the progress bar. For the best results, use the app in a reasonably quiet room so your child's voice comes through clearly. If a word isn't recognized on the first try, just encourage your child to repeat it — that repetition is exactly what builds the skill.
In what languages is Speech Blubs available?
Speech Blubs is available in English (both American and British), Spanish, French and Portuguese. You can switch the language from the menu inside the app.
Is Speech Blubs only available in English?
No. Besides English (American and British), Speech Blubs is also available in Spanish, French and Portuguese. To change it, open the menu in the app, choose Languages and pick the one you want — the app content will switch to that language.
What are the topics covered in Speech Blubs?
Speech Blubs offers over 1,500 activities, face filters, voice-activated exercises and educational bonus videos. They are grouped into topics that target specific sounds and age-appropriate categories, so you can work through early sounds, first words and sentences step by step. Along the way children also explore themes such as animals, nature, dinosaurs, vehicles, food and emotions — so they build vocabulary while practicing speech.

What subscription plans are available?
We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. The annual plan provides the best value with significant savings compared to the monthly plan.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Go to Subscriptions, find Speech Blubs, and select Cancel.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! We offer a free trial so you can explore the app and see how your child responds before committing to a subscription.
Cancel Subscription - Apple (iOS)
Every supporter of our app, like you, helps us reach more kids who need our help. We are sorry to hear our app is not meeting your expectations. To cancel your subscription on iOS: Open Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > Speech Blubs > Cancel Subscription.
Cancel Subscription - Android

Get a refund - Apple (iOS)
Before asking for a refund, you should cancel your active subscription, otherwise it's very unlikely that Apple will grant you a refund. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
I have bought a subscription but everything is locked and I can't access it!
We are sorry for this inconvenient situation. This might happen if the app didn't recognize your subscription ID after an update. Please try: 1) Restore purchases in the app settings, 2) Sign out and sign back in, 3) Contact us at

I registered with Apple ID, and now I can't log in. What to do?
If you registered using Apple Login with the "Hide My Email" option, Apple created an anonymous email address for your account, which you will need to log in. To find it: 1) Open Settings on your iOS device and tap your Apple ID at the top; 2) Choose Passwords & Security; 3) Tap "Apps Using Apple ID"; 4) Find Speech Blubs in the list and tap it; 5) Copy the address shown under "This app received". Then go to our website, paste that email and set up a password; you will receive a reset link at your personal email address. We offer two subscription plans: monthly at $14.99 per month, and annual at $59.99 per year — that works out to $4.99 per month and saves you 67%. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel at any time. You can subscribe on our website or through the App Store or Google Play.

Why is there a subscription?
The subscription keeps Speech Blubs free of ads and safe for children, and it funds the ongoing work of maintaining the app, producing new content and developing new features. One subscription covers your whole family — you can create a profile for each of your children on the same account.
How do I purchase my subscription?
You can subscribe in two ways: on our website at customer-support.speechblubs.com, where you create an account and choose your plan; or directly through the App Store or Google Play. Both the monthly and the annual plan start with a 7-day free trial.
Where can I see my subscription status?
It depends where you subscribed. If you subscribed on our website, sign in at customer-support.speechblubs.com to see your plan, update your payment method or change your plan. If you subscribed through the App Store, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Google Play, open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
How do I get a refund?
We automatically issue a full refund for all subscriptions and one-time purchases within the first 3 days of your purchase; we do not offer refunds after 3 days following the first payment. If you purchased through the App Store or Google Play, the refund is handled by Apple or Google — for Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. How long does it take to get a refund?
If you request a refund from us directly, we process it within 5-7 business days. If your purchase was made through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handle the refund and their own processing times apply. Depending on your bank, it can take a few extra days for the money to appear on your statement.

How do I add multiple children?
You can create multiple child profiles within a single account. Go to Settings > Child Profiles to add a new profile for each child.
How do I track my child's progress?
The app includes a Progress section where you can view detailed reports on your child's speech development journey, including words practiced and time spent.
Can I use Speech Blubs offline?
Some activities can be used offline after they have been downloaded. However, for the best experience and access to all features, we recommend using the app with an internet connection.
Can Speech Blubs be used on Amazon Fire Tablet?
We are currently not supported on Kindle or Amazon Fire tablets since they have launched their own app stores that are not connected to Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Can I use Speech Blubs on multiple devices?
Yes. Install Speech Blubs on the other device and log in with the same account details. If your subscription does not appear straight away, choose "Restore purchase" on the plans screen. If you cannot log in, check that your email address was entered without capital letters, and try resetting your password.
Can I use Speech Blubs on my desktop computer?
The Speech Blubs app is made for phones and tablets (iOS and Android) and is not supported on desktop computers. Our free speech screener, however, can be taken in a browser on a computer — you can start it at speechblubs.com/assessment.
I forgot my password, how do I recover it?
On the login screen, choose "Forgot password?" and enter the email address for your account — we will send you a reset link. If you subscribed on our website, you can also reset your password at customer-support.speechblubs.com. Not sure which email you used? Search your inbox for "Speech Blubs" or for

How do I delete my Speech Blubs account?

from the address your account uses and ask us to delete your account. We will ask a few questions to verify the account and then start the deletion for you. Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play — you need to cancel that separately in your app store account settings.
How do I set permissions for taking photos with Speech Blubs?
When you first open the app, it asks for camera permission. If you choose "Don't Allow", the camera-based activities — including the face filters, which are a large part of the app — will not work. You can enable the camera later in your device settings, under the Speech Blubs app permissions. Photos taken in the app are saved only on your own device.
