Is screen time good for my child?

Screen time, if used wisely, can be beneficial for a child’s development. Different authorities on speech recommend different amounts of screen time, depending on the child’s age. Even though it is advised to avoid screen time at a very early age, it can show great benefits in later ages. It also depends on the type of screen time your child is exposed to. We distinguish between passive, structured, and unstructured screen time. It is not just about the time spent on devices, but also the level of parent engagement.
